As part of Public Health’s winter warmth campaign which is about helping the vulnerable stay warm, we would like to ask you to help by donating your unwanted warm clothing for people who are homeless.

We want to make sure as many homeless people as possible have access to warm clothing and basic amenities.

We are looking for donations of the following:

  • Waterproofs
  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Sanitary towels
  • Tampons
  • Care pack – toothpaste/toothbrush/soap
  • Socks
  • Blankets
  • Tents

The clothing doesn’t have to be new, as long as it’s clean and warm and in good condition.

The plan is to get as many resources as possible and share them out to local organisations such as Crisis, Homeless Oxfordshire and Simon House.

There are collection boxes by the lifts in County Hall on the ground, 2nd and 3rd floor. There will also be collection boxes at and Knights Court on the ground floor near the lift and stairs.
